Inventory is not identity

The homepage is not a billboard. It is a map. A visitor should understand what you are building, what you care about, and where to keep reading without having to decode a marketing slogan.

Cadence beats spectacle

A good archive has memory. Dates, small summaries, and visible categories show the rhythm of thought. They make progress feel continuous instead of performative.

In brief

The north star is durability. If a page still makes sense six months from now, it has done more work than a beautiful page that expires next week.
